New Generation Hyundai Elantra Available at Indian Dealerships

The new generation Hyundai Elantra has been launched in India between the price range of INR 14.13 Lac to INR 17.94 Lac, ex-showroom, New Delhi. Design wise, the car gets adequate modifications, which is undoubtedly making it more captivating than its previous model with new projector headlamps, including LED lights, fog lamps, updated front bumper, twin treated rear bumper and 16 inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, this newly launched sedan includes some latest features, like auto cruise control, lumber supportive 10 way power seats, smart key with push button start, new touch audio comprising 4.3 inch color TFT LCD, ABS along EBD, ESC and 6 airbags.

The Elantra is powered by the same fuel mill options as its predecessor, such as a 1.8 litre dual VTVT petrol and 1.6 litre VGT CRDi diesel engines. Whereas the gasoline choice produces an impressive power of 149 PS at 6,500 rpm and a superb torque of 178 Nm at 4,700 rpm, the oil burner variant is good for 128 PS at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm between 1,900 rpm to 2,750 rpm. Both of these powertrain versions are available in manual as well as an automatic transmission choices, in which the automatic gearbox is only seen on the top end trims of these variants.

Alongside both of the gearbox (manual and automatic), the petrol models are capable to confer a fuel efficiency of 16.3 km/l and 14.34 km/l, respectively, while diesel trims can return the appreciable 22.7 km/l and 19.11 km/l of fuel economy.
