New Honda Jazz Launch Proclaimed in India

Finally, Honda has promulgated the launch confirmation of the latest Jazz in India on its social media channel with revealing the poster, including lettering, which ratifies that it will hit the showrooms in July 2015. This hatchback will be available in two mill options, such as 1.2 litre petrol engine and a 1.5 litre diesel unit, in which the oil burner will be the latest inclusion on this most awaited runabout. However, the petrol powertrain will be shared with the Brio and is expected to produce power of 88 PS alongside torque of 109 Nm.

On the other hand, the diesel variant will be egregious in churning out the outputs of 100 PS and 200 Nm. Both of these mill (petrol & diesel) choices are likely to be paired to a CVT gearbox and a manual transmission, respectively for supplying the power to its wheels. Cosmetically, the new Honda Jazz will get a plethora of updated components in order to be more beautiful and charming as compared to the current version.

Inside, Honda will offer the same dashboard, which has already been seen on the new City, with touch controlled automatic climate control system, phone control, steering mounted audio control, a touchscreen infotainment system including navigation as well as reverse camera and power folding wing mirrors. The manufacturer won't ignore security for its passengers, as it promises to bestow dual front airbags with ABS and EBD.

This car will undergo production at Honda's plant situated at the Tapukara, Rajasthan and is anticipated to be priced between INR 5 Lac to INR 7 Lac. Alongside making the appearance in July this year, the Jazz will beat the likes of other cars, such as VW Polo, Hyundai Elite i20, Tata Bolt, Maruti Swift and Fiat Punto Evo.
