Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R that is a supersport motorcycle from the giant Japanese automaker, has been teased online ahead of its debut. The bike’s rendering makes us believe that it will launch soon with the 2018 Model Year updates. Altogether, the opened bookings for 2018 Ninja ZX-10R at the token amount of INR 3 lakh, consolidate the notion of bike’s early arrival.
The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is likely to price around INR 18.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The price lower than the ongoing model. Since, the company will locally assemble the Ninja ZX-10R at its manufacturing facility in Pune. Earlier reports also confirm the same.
Currently, the ongoing ZX-10R model is being provided to the Indian market all the way from the CBU route. With the commencement of motorcycle’s local-assembly as CKD unit, the pricing obviously is affected and will be more accessible for the buyers. The models which are recently being locally-manufactured at the company’s plant in India includes the Z250, Ninja 300, Ninja 650, Z650, Versys 650 and Ninja 1000. Post-launch, the 2018 Ninja ZX-10R will be the new addition to the list.
Behind the fairing, the new generation Ninja ZX-10R will be packed with the same 998cc, in-line four-cylinder motor of the ongoing model. However, the company had made some enhancement in order to generate improved power of 210PS along with 113 Nm of torque.
The power transmission will be handled by a mated six-speed gearbox.
