BMW Motorrad is ready to unbox two new racers K 1600 B and the R nineT in India Bike Week at Goa on 24 November 2017. The windscreen of the racers is electronically adaptable, whereas the fairing obtains extra rim grooves to enhance wind declination. BMW K 1600 B is operable on a 1,649cc inline six-cylinder engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 158bhp and a peak torque of 175Nm.
The catalog of additional setup comprises a quickshifter to match with a six-speed transmission, and a reverse gear also. The racer floats by occupying in three riding options which are a road, rain, and dynamic. Dynamic electronic suspension of the bike accommodates the decrease as per the road surface.
For the purchasers who are not too much comfortable with the heavy cruisers, they have BMW R nineT Racer which is simultaneously going to be displayed beside the K 1600 B. A leveled down variant of the R nineT, this racer takes a retro cowl based on the 1950’s motorcycles.
A steel tank is newly added replacing the aluminum tank, in addition, the telescopic units are also updated and swapped to the inverted front forks. The R nineT Racer is powered by a 1170cc air-cooled twin-cylinder boxer engine which is same as the engine specs of K 1600 B and able to churn out a maximum power of 110 BHP and a peak torque of 116 Nm.

Huge Bagger bikes are more popular and have a firm fan base in the American market, and the great thing is that India is also getting attracted towards them. Although Honda Goldwing is no more available in Indian market for a sale, the BMW K 1600 B Racer will go to emulate against the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special and the Indian Roadmaster.
Besides this, coming to the BMW R nineT Racer has also a competition to perform against the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V and the Triumph Thruxton R.
