The new SVAutobiography LWB is developed on the Range Rover’s wheelbase that is 3,120mm. If compared to the regular car’s wheelbase that is around 2,922mm, the legroom in the new SVAutobiography LWB will be 1200mm more for the rear passengers and the seats can recline by 40deg.
Other than this, in the lieu to bestow high-level comfort, the carmaker is providing foam seat with a hot massage function and heated calf and footrests. There are doors opening and closing functionality just by a press of a button. Also, there is a deployable rear table which is integrated with a 10.00-inch touchscreen with 4G Wi-Fi connectivity. A refrigerator with the capacity of holding two wine bottles or four 600ml bottles is also installed in between the two rear passengers.

The SVAutobiography comes with three powertrain options. The Land Rover’s 565hp super-charged 5.0-litre V8 engine is loaded under the hood of the top of the line variant. The engine is borrowed from the hot SVR and also performs duty with the smaller SVAutobiography Dynamic, that is exclusive to the unit. The second one is a 403hp turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit integrated to an electric motor. The new SVAutobiography model will be hand-made to supply the high level of customization at Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre in Warwickshire.
The SVAutobiography’s global appearance in LA will take place alongside the models such as Discovery SVX and Range Rover Sport SVR; the standard wheelbase SVAutobiography Dynamic will also share the podium.
In India, the new Range Rover SVAutobiography LWB is likely to join its pre-facelift sibling in early next year. While, the pre-facelift model is currently being sold at pricing starts from Rs 2.59 crore to 4.62 crores (on-road, Delhi).
