Triumph’s Street Triple is all set to occupy a larger capacity engine for 2017. The motoring website MCN has reported it several times within the last six months. but now, this speculation got some strength from the unveiled image of the bike captured during its test mule.
The company already made the availability of the new Street Triple to the customer clinics for getting the response of the audience and the surfaced information indicates the new speed triple 765 is just the transpose of the two digit of the current model’s displacement to increase the capacity by 90cc.
As per the leaked online source, the firm would do the expansion of street triple to the four models having the capacity above 750cc. And the picture captured by the photographer of the MCN also confirms the same that the spied Triumph bike was bolted with the larger capacity engine between 675cc to 800cc.
Mechanically, the engine takes the form of the current Street Triple with a pretty similar seat subframe. Talking about the body silhouette, the changes are almost intact having subtle alterations like a bit modified seat unit accompanied by new grab rails, head lamps and bar end mirrors are identical to that of the new Street Triple. Moreover, the silver side cowls on both sides of the radiator imitate the fresh Street Triple.

Further glancing the images, you will observe the new swingarm. When spotted earlier, it has been noticed that the swingarm was having a different shape as compared to the present variant. But, now the picture is much more clear and shows an identical aluminium trellis shape of the subframe of the motorcycle.
The bike is going to be launched in considerable four versions. The base model is going to get Nissin axial brakes and Kayaba suspension, 'R' model will take radial Nissins and a Showa fork (the model which is being captured), Coming over to the 'RT' variant, there will be a same suspension setup as that of 'R', but it upholds an optional half-fairing with extra touring-oriented levels of kit. The last but not the least 'RS' variant packs Ohlins suspension and Brembo calipers. The new mill will be presented in three states of tune.
