Next-gen 2017 Nissan Micra: Global Premiere at 2016 Paris Motor Show

Nissan has all set to pull the covers off from its next-gen Micra hot-hatch at 2016 Paris Motor Show, a leading auto event which will be started from October 1 to October 16, 2016. The new Micro is based on the ‘Sway Concept’ that was unveiled at Geneva Motor Show last year by the Japanese auto giant and has been spied testing plenty of times in the several countries.

Despite being named Micra, it will be entirely different on every aspect, from its forerunning model, except the small hatch body type. This time, the car will feature a sportier stance with the aggressive front fascia, sharp body design, sloping roof line and rear spoiler. The 4-seater small hatch will also come with all the modern tech-equipment and safety features.

On powertrain, no mechanicals details have been revealed so far by the officials. Though, the car will be based on the CMF platform which is designed and developed by the Renault-Nissan alliance, and will be manufactured alongside the Clio hatch and Zeo EV at Renault’s facility in Flins, France.

About India launch, Nissan has not confirmed yet whether this next-gen Micra would make its entry in India or it will introduce an updated version of the current Micra model which is based on the company’s V-platform. More will be revealed after the Paris debut of the car.
