The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is the most selling product of the company and definitely in a need of updated version. The company seems to have realized to make some updates in a hatchback and it is realized by a spotted test mule in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. As famed to get several revisions in the Wagon R model, it is expected to get some cosmetic changes, modified structural rigidity, and BS-VI compliance.

The updated Wagon R is expected to get the same 1.0-litre K-Series three-cylinder petrol engine generating a peak power of 67 bhp and a peak torque of 90 Nm. The engine will also come mated to the same 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit.
Moreover, it may also get rear parking camera, a touchscreen infotainment system and improved seat comfort to meet upmarket prerequisites.
