The all new Nissan Livina MPV that borrows its platform from Mitsubishi Xpander MPV has premiered in Indonesia. The Mitsubishi Xpander is already on sale there since October 2017. Other than the platform, the body panels are also the shared unit on new Livina from the Mitsubishi Xpander. However, the front fascia on the Nissan Livina is less aggressive and resembles the brand\'s signature V-motion grille. Furthermore, it gets new, differently designed front and rear bumpers along with the alloy wheels.

Dimensionally, the new Nissan Livina measures 4,510 mm in length, 1,750 mm in width and 1,695 mm in height. Under the hood, the MPV is packed with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol powertrain liable for producing 104hp and 141Nm of torque. The power figures are as similar as the Xpander. The power transmission is being provided with options like a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic gearbox unit.
Primarily, the Nissan Livina will be launched in Indonesia where it will see competition with the likes of Mitsubishi Xpander, Honda BR-V and Honda Mobilio and the new Suzuki Ertiga as well.
As of now, there\'s no confirmation that the Nissan Livina will launch in India or not. However, the Mitsubishi Xpander has lined up for the brandÂ’s Indian portfolio in coming future.
