Next Generation Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet Caught on Camera

After the recent launch of Continental GT Black Edition in the country, the British luxury car manufacturer, Bentley is planning something more updated form of it. As Bentley’s next generation Continental GT has been teased on the European roads in Cabriolet disguise. From the spied images of next generation Continental GT, it can be seen that Bentley took a lot of design ideology from the EXP 10 speed 6 concept cars which were showcased in 2015.

Coming to its stance, the new Continental GT Cabriolet appears lower and longer to its current selling model. At the front, it gets Bentley’s signature large round shaped headlamps and grille. While the rear end gets a completely new design. It comes with a wider body and a heavily blazed wheel arches.

The new Cabriolet will be based on the new platform which is currently used in Audi Q7, Bentley Bentayga, and yet to be launched next generation Porsche Panamera. Some reports suggest that the Bentley used different material in its construction which allow the new Cabriolet to drop a 100kg from its weight.

Under the hood, the next generation Bentley Continental GT Cabriolet is expected to run with the same set of machines which powers the on going model with the higher performance. We can also expect a hybrid engine option for the Indian market. This new Continental GT Cabriolet will possibly make its debut sometime in 2019.
