Next Generation BMW X3 Spotted Testing

The German automaker BMW is constantly looking for some changes in its fleet and the latest news is about the next generation BMW X3 SUV which has been spotted testing in the European winter. The car has been fully camouflaged so that no design cues come out until the launch of this car take place. This new generation X3 looks similar to the current one, but in real it's based on the new modular architecture and hence would be lighter and smaller than current model. However, the space in the car would be more because of this new frame architecture. Apart from the frame base, there are many more new features as well.

From the front, the car has same sporty kidney grille which has been equipped with newly designed headlamps. The major changes in the car are about its engine which could be coupled by an electric motor of 90 bhp power along with a 4-cylinder turbocharged engine which produces 240 bhp power and offers 50 km range on pure electric mode. Nevertheless, X3M40i will be getting powered by 3.0 Litre inline 6-Cylinder engine producing 340 bhp power.

Talking about the Indian market, current BMW X3 didn't perform well, but the company still might introduce this facelift version by mid of the next year as the luxury car market of India is on all time high.
