The Mercedes-Benz has given a new and stunning design philosophy to its next generation E Class that has been commenced testing recently. Reportedly, its designing features will be inspired by various new models of Mercedes, such as GLA, C Class and S Class. This runabout is based on the Mercedes Rear Wheel Architecture (MRA), which also underpins latest C Class and inside, it’s anticipated to have the same dashboard layouts as its S Class including a noteworthy modification. The existing W212 facelift E Class would be replaced by this vehicle alongside a transcendent updated cosmetic as well as mechanical parts to adduce most alluring aspects for everyone at first sight.
In terms of powertrains, the Mercedes E Class seems to be similar as C Class, while its technological parts will be influenced by S Class. Apart from its petrol and diesel variants, this car will also be available in plug-in hybrid powertrains in order to meet the fervor performance. Notably, its E 63 AMG version is probably to be powered by the Mercedes AMG-GT and C 63 AMG motivated 4 litre twin turbo V8 AMG engine creating grandiose output for the occupants.
This luxury upgraded model is expected to be set up in India either at the end of 2016 or early in 2017 between an approx range of INR 45-55 Lacs and will give a big challenge to the Audi A6, Jaguar XF and BMW 5 Series.
