The new Nissan Kicks sub-compact SUV has been launched by Nissan India. The price of the new Kicks will be Rs 9.55 lakhs. After Terrano, the new Kicks is the first all-new car of 2019 in India and the platform is same as of Renault Captur i.e. B0 platform. The new Nissan Kicks has the features- dual front airbags, electrically adjustable mirrors embedded with indicators, LED DRLs, height adjustable driver’s seat, climate control with rear AC vents, and power windows.
The range-topping XV Pre-Option trim also has 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto and it also has a 360-degree surround camera which for the first time has come to its segment.

The car is powered with 1.5-litre petrol powertrain which produces 105bhp of maximum power and 142Nm of maximum torque. The car is also powered with 1.5-litre diesel powertrain which produces 108bhp of maximum power and 240Nm of maximum torque.
The petrol trim gets married to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the diesel trim is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. At present, there is no automatic gearbox option but the company will introduce it soon. As of now, the car will be offered with 2WD option only. The new Nissan Kicks get the color options of seven single tone and four double tone colours.
The Nissan Kicks will compete with the rivals which will have the same price tag are Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and the upcoming Kia SP2i SUV.
