One More Mercedes-Benz CLS to be Launched in India

The positive growth of the car market in the Indian market has made the companies fight very hard for the top position and Mercedes-Benz has taken full advantage of the opportunity by launching back to back cars. The company has launched nearly 10 cars till now in this year and planning to launch one more. This time the car is Mercedes-Benz CLS 250 CDI and it'll surely be the sister of recently launched Mercedes-Benz CLS 350.

Though, the new CLS 250 CDI will be less on power and will have the 2.2 litre 4-Cylinder diesel engine to produce 204 bhp power. The power will get transmitted with the help of 7-speed automatic transmission gearbox and will take the car from rest to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds. Now, on the features front, the car has the same signature radiator grille and strongly appealing rear with broad shoulders to make it look like a sloping coupe. The car also has Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround system with the same interiors like in CLS 350. The music system has 14 speakers, a subwoofer, 9-channel DSP amplifier and a 610 watt Dolby Digital 5.1 system.

The new CLS 250 CDI is definitely the smaller power version of the CLS 350 and it means that the price also has to be reduced. While the CLS 350 has been announced for the price of INR 89.9 Lac ex-showroom, the new CLS 250 CDI could get the price tag of around INR 75-80 Lac. But, still the company will have the last say.
