Patent images of the BMW Z4 leaked and surfacing online. The images show flat rear lights, swept-back headlights, and wide kidney grilles. The images are revealing the styling which has similarities with 2017 concept. The company has announced previously to reveal new Z4 in 2019 at Pebble Beach in August prior to the Paris motor show where the specifications are going to be declared.
The all-new Z4 model is likely to reach the market by 2019, however, the test mule spied many times in a year. The latest information shows the car in production-spec where the framework is protected with a light camouflage. It is spotted with smaller-diameter wheels as compared to the lower-spec version spied before. The earlier out video was showing car’s cornering with covered winglets on the nose.

The new Z4 model may come with turbocharged petrol engine which is recently launched by the BMW. The BMW Z4 sDrive30i will obtain a four-cylinder, turbocharged 2.0-litre engine generating a peak power of 251hp, whereas the other powerful version will take a six-cylinder, turbocharged 3.0-litre engine along with the M240i, generating a peak power of 355hp.
The engines come equipped with a rear-wheel drive as standard and a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. It is equipped with the same rear axle available in the M4 and M3 reveals to be compatible to turbocharged, 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine producing 370hp or twin-turbo, 3.0-litre straight-six generating 430hp. These engines are mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and run on the rear wheels. This as well reveals to get M variant along with more centered chassis set-up and bespoke bodywork.

Some parts of the Z4 are similar to the anticipated Toyota Supra which takes a hybrid drivetrain, as expected. Such powertrain will run on the four-wheel drive. Toyota and BMW have decided to produce a new sports car platform and the Supra is part of this initiative.
Where upcoming Toyota Supra will be the successor to the Supra model, the new Z4 model will take a convertible guise. The design of the Toyota Supra is inspired from the FT-1 concept, revealed at the Detroit motor show in 2014.
