Piaggio Will Launch Vespa 150 During the Festival Season

The scooter market has shown incredible growth in the two-wheeler market, whereas, the two-wheeler makers are spreading their wings by introducing iconic scooters in the country. The Piaggio's very own scooter brand, Vespa, is entering into the new segment as the company will be introducing a completely new scooter in the country during the festival season. The Italian scooter manufacturer is currently offering four models under the scooter range for the Indian enthusiasts. The models include Vespa S, VX, LX and the lately introduced Vespa Elegante; a limited edition scooter. According to the sources, the Piaggio will be discontinuing the Vespa LX model from the Indian line-up.

The LX model was introduced in the year, 2012. Well, it seems the Piaggio is looking to refresh its products by removing old models from the scooter line-up. The strategy behind the 150cc motor is to increase its followers. Moreover, the 2016 model will be featured with a completely new and large engine displacement that will likely to be produced dynamic power output and riding performance. The new Vespa 150 will carry stylish retro looks and impressive outstanding ride quality.

Furthermore, the Vespa LX-125 is featuring a single-cylinder and four-stroke engine, mated to a CVT transmission easily manages 10 BHP of power at 7500 RPM and 10Nm of torque at 7500 RPM, that will continue powering to the 2015 edition. Moreover, the Piaggio is planning to introduce fuel-injected engine scooter incorporated with both 150cc and 125cc engine displacement. Talk about the price, the price of the Vespa 150 will be higher than its current 125cc models. There is not any confirmation about the price and technical elements.
