Pulsar 150NS: The younger brother of 200NS is on the Road for a Test

The Pulsar has been one of the highest selling two-wheeler series in the India. And, the brand image of the Bajaj motorcycles is known by Pulsar. The company has plans to give something new to the buyer with in affordable cost. Therefore, the company is replacing the outgoing models of Pulsar 150 and 180 in this year, and continuously testing on its update version Pulsar 150 in Lonavala, Maharastra. Means, Pulsar 150, the name remain the same, but the design will be different.

The new Pulsar 150 is inspired by its flagship elder brother 200NS. The new Pulsar 150 Naked Sport gets a decorated headlight, side fenders and fuel tank. The new analogue-digital console remains the same as 200 NS. The new version has seen with the stylish newly designed alloy wheels. It also gets a new chassis and clip-on handlebars that are more impressive than the old version of Pulsar 150. The bike on test was spotted with a single seat.

Other stipulated features of the bike include a rear monoshock suspension and front telescopic forks which has been borrowed from the 200NS. The bike also gets an under belly exhaust, foot pegs and turn indicators, while the tail part remains the same to the current model.

Furthermore, the 150 NS will be using the same 150cc air cooled and four valve engine that will deliver the same power and torque and comes matted to a 5-speed gear box. As we saw, the company made only changes in the design, but the engine might be same as the current model. If we talk about the price, the price will be higher than Pulsar 150 and lower than 200NS.
