2018 Range Rover Spied While Testing In India

New Range Rover 2018 spotted while testing in India. The test mule seems to be the Range Rover Vogue LWB trim. The company has been testing this test mule in the country for a month which indicates that the Land Rover will introduce the Range Rover facelift in the country soon.

The mid-cycle revision of the Range Rover was introduced at the Los Angeles Motor Show. It obtains technological revisions as well as some apparent visual changes, however, an interesting revision you will see is in the form of a plug-in hybrid electric powertrain.

The primary design revision takes new all-LED headlamps along with a new radiator grille. The front bumper of the car is connected to wider air-vents in relation to the older car. The 2018 Range Rover now comes with sharp looking lightning signature. It has two optional design schemes in relation to the trademark side grills of the Range Rover. The LED tail lights, lighting signature, and bumpers have got revisions in design.

Inside the cabin, it takes revision in seats in terms of reclining functions, 24-way adjustability, massage functions. The new Range Rover spots a 12-inch digital display, 17 connection points for HDMI and USB, 4G Wi-Fi connectivity and 12-volt plugs. The cabin is also updated with a 10-inch touchscreen display along with an InControl Touch Pro Duo infotainment system.



With the launch, the new Range Rover will get the current powertrain along with the availability of the P400e PHEV. The new car takes power from a 296bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine attached to a 114bhp electric motor. The output from the 398bhp is forwarded to the permanent four-wheel-drive system.

The new 2018 Range Rover will come in the country in form of a CBU route. As expected, the new Range Rover will be priced at Rs. 20-25 lakhs over the price of the existing car in terms of upgrades and additional features. The 2018 Range Rover will compete the Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, and the Bentley Bentayga in the market.
