Since the launch in four wheeler segment, the Clio has remained a strongest player of the French automobile manufacturer, Renault that has also been awarded by European Car of the Year for two times in 1991 and 2006. In order to keep its position in market as well as its popularity among the buyers, the carmaker has also introduced many updates from time to time. After having more than 400,000 sales in 2015, the fourth generation model of Clio went through a mid-cycle facelift treatment for both interior and exterior counterparts.

From the moment you will move to the mechanical front, you will get to see a redesigned bumper that houses larger air intakes and foglamps with LED support. The company’s diamond shaped logo is flanked by the new headlights integrated with full LED option and DRLs. Moreover, the rear profile has also been tweaked by the revamped bumper and more darkened lenses for tail lights.

Inside the cabin, the doors and dash are treated with well finished material and satin-effect metal trim as well as matt black finishes on the air vents. It has also got a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that equipped with satellite navigation and smartphone compatibility. The higher trims have also been offered with BOSE sound system.

Mechanically, a range of engine options are available with the Renault Clio including both petrol and diesel fuel units. While the former is fitted with a 1.2-litre turbo unit and tuned to deliver 75 Bhp, 90 Bhp or 120 Bhp, the latter is powered by a 1.5-litre four cylinder unit and produces 90 Bhp and 110 Bhp of power. Both the engines are mated with a six-speed manual as well as a dual clutch automatic transmissions. In addition, it has also been featured with several safety features such as traction control, ABS with EBD, ESP and six airbags.
