After rolling out the revolutionary Kwid hatchback in India, the French automobile company Renault has announced discounts on its models- Fluence and Koleos. These two vehicles are reportedly not getting enough demand in the market and have been running low on sales. As the festive season is due in a month, the company has intelligently put heavy discounts on these cars in order to boost up the sales.

The sedan (Fluence) is being offered with INR 1.5 Lacs of cash discount alongside a corporate benefit amounting to INR 15,000 that totals up to INR 1.65 Lacs. On the other hand, the SUV (Koleos) is available with total discount of INR 2.2 Lacs, where INR 2 Lacs is the cash discount and the rest is an additional corporate benefit of INR 20,000.

Talking about the performance of these cars, both are equipped with powerful motors that generate reasonably sound outputs. The 141 cc diesel engine of Fluence produces 107 Bhp power, which is transmitted to the wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Moving on to the Koleos, it gets a 2000 cc motor under its hood with 146 Bhp power, available in both FWD and AWD setups. The mileages are rated at 20.4 km/l and 17.15 km/l respectively.
