Recently, we had celebrated the launch of an electric sedan under the moniker of Mahindra e-Verito in India and now another electric vehicle has been surfaced on the internet. This time, it was a hatchback, which had been caught on camera in Bangalore. The car in question here, Renault Zoe, a five door supermini electric car has been spied in Silicon Valley of India with UK License plate. Till the date, Nothing officially has been revealed by the company, however, the spy shots have been giving little indication of its launch in India.
The Zoe was a great hit in the electric car segment when it was first revealed in France in 2012. Just one look at the images and you will realize that it's not a prototype of the car even though it appears to therein run with an electric motor of Lithium Urban Technologies.
Based on the Renault Clio's platform, Renault Zoe is powered by an electric motor that burns out a power of 88 Bhp at 3000-11,300 rpm and a torque of 220 Nm at 250-2500 rpm. On a full charge, its 400-volt Lithium-ion battery will enable the unit to run up to 240 km.
With this arrangement, it can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 13.5 seconds as well as do a top speed of 135 km/h. Well, all the details are carried out from European-based mode.
