The Wisconsin based custom mechanics has come up with something really new, which no one can imagine of. Here comes, a new custom formula to convert your V-Rod Harley-Davidson into a Reverse Trike. Visit the Scorpions Trike, the United States custom mechanics, who have designed a kit that can turn your Harley-Davidson V-Rod into a reverse trike without any kind of frame modification. This conversion kit will cost you about 5000 USD.
The Scorpion Trike has come up with this conversion kit. It is pretty easy to install and also includes various optional accessories and the main kit as well. Numerous conversion kits have been developed by the custom mechanics and each kit is especially designed for specific models. The first version of the modification kit is designed for Harley-Davidson V-Rod Series and another version would be used for Harley-Davidson's touring motorcycles.
In order to install the kit, the manufacturer has claimed that if a person is DIY inspired, he can do it within hours, but the company didn't make it clear that whether it is a dealer-install-only kit or a person can install it by itself. The Scorpion Trike makes it available in the market carrying a disclaimer that the added proviso will not be provided with the kit. One needs to purchase the additional parts from the nearby local store of Harley-Davidson dealership in order to complete the installation.
Eventually, it would be an amazing idea to introduce a Reverse Trike Harley-Davidson. However, the Harley-Davidson itself has recently introduced Free-Wheeler, a three wheeler motorcycle, but the Reverse Trike could also help a physically challenged person to get a ride on their dreamed Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The Scorpion Trike will start shipping the conversion kits by the spring of the coming year, 2015. The kit will be carrying optional accessories, bodywork add-ons, frame-covers and the lighting kits. These additional things have been designed and will be available for a particular time period. The upcoming conversion kits for Harley-Davidson's touring motorcycles have not yet announced by the company.
