Rivals: Mahindra Centuro Rockstar Vs Honda CD 110 Dream

Mahindra Two-Wheelers, a new comer in the two-wheeler industry, has recently launched its all new commuter motorcycle, Mahindra Centuro Rockstar. The newly introduced motorcycle has made its entry as a predecessor of the Mahindra's Centuro carrying a Rockstar badge over the motorcycle. However, Mahindra has its own esteemed prominence in the four-wheeler market and we can also say that it has become king of the SUV market. Instead of having this much fame in the SUV range, Mahindra is desperately wanted to rule the commuter two-wheeler segment in India.

Now, the newly launched Mahindra Centuro Rockstar has its competitor already present in the 110cc segment, i.e. Honda CD 110 Dream. Honda Motorcycles has recently introduced CD 110 Dream in the first week of July, which belongs to the Dream Family, after Neo and Yuga. Let's run your eyes over the key features of both the motorcycles, provided by their manufactures.

Honda CD 110 Dream vs Centuro Rockstar

Mahindra Centuro Rockstar:- The recently launched commuter segment motorcycle from Mahindra Two-Wheelers. The motorcycle is named as Mahindra Centuro Rockstar, launched at an attractive price of Rs 43,700 and carrying pretty new features. The new member is engined with the same single-cylinder MCi-5 power plant, which gives an engine displacement of 106.7cc. The engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox and capable to generate 8.38BHP of total power and a peak torque of 8.5Nm.

Well, it seems that the cost cutting done by the company directly affects the practical nature of the motorcycle, as it loses out some features which was available in older variants. However, the company had baptized this motorcycle as a Rockstar variant, but I am not following that how one could call this a "Rockstar" motorcycle, if it doesn't sport only the basic commuter motorcycle features. The main attraction of the motorcycle is its new body color graphics, which shows a combination of bright red, gold and black colors. The 5-step suspension, extra long wheelbase and MCi-5 engine has incorporated in such a way to provide an amazing riding experience under any road situation.

Honda CD 110 Dream:- HMSI has its renowned name in the two-wheeler segment in Indian market. In terms of design, styling and engineering, this Japanese automobile maker could be able to hold against any other motorcycle manufacturer. The recently launched product from the company is Honda CD 110 Dream, a 110cc segment commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle belongs to the Dream Series and specially engineered to fulfill the needs of the city riders. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 40,750 (Ex-Showroom Jaipur). The company claims that it is one of the most affordable motorcycles available in the market within the same price range.

The Honda CD 110 Dream gets its power from a 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine incorporated with the Honda Eco Technology (HET). The engine is capable to belt out a peak torque of 8.63Nm and 8.25BHP of total power. The HET has brought together to make this one a fuel-efficient motorcycle. The silver coated alloy wheels and new graphics over the motorcycle in various color combinations are the most appealing attractions of the motorcycle.
