Rolls-Royce’s all-new Phantom VIII will be launched on 22 February 2018 in India. An Instagram user recently posted a picture of the luxury car on his account.
The luxury saloon borrows its design features from the Rolls-Royce 103EX concept. The evolutionary design is both fresh and inspiring. On the lines of the previous model launched in 2003, the new flagship offering is available in two options: standard wheelbase version and an extended wheelbase version.
It sits on an all-new aluminum space frame architecture which is 30% more rigid than the one used for the Rolls-Royce Phantom VII. A 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 petrol engine powers the car churning out 571 PS at 5,000 rpm and 900 Nm of torque at 1,700 rpm. The rear wheels are powered by the satellite-assisted ZF 8-speed automatic transmission system. The remodeled four-wheel steering system further enhances driving experience with increased maneuverability.
