Besides, the rear disc brake fitment, the motorcycle did not experience a single alteration at cosmetic as well as the mechanical front. Under the fuel tank, the stocked 349cc air-cooled single-cylinder carburetted engine is responsible for bike’s propelling. The churned out power and torque figures from the powertrain are 19.8bhp and 28Nm respectively. A paired five-speed gearbox transmits the expelled power to the rear wheel.
The company offers Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch edition in the range of three bright colours including red, green and blue.
The rear disc equipped Redditch edition will now cost you at INR 1.47 lakhs (ex-showroom) with a premium of INR 8,155 over the standard Classic 350. The more advanced rider’s riding comfort ABS is not being provided in any of the RE models. Though, the dealers\' source claimed the ABS will be a Royal Enfield motorcycles’ fitment by the next year.
