Other than this, the only adventure tourer from the brand has also been equipped with ABS and priced INR 10-12k over the standard model.
Next in queue, packed with a powerful 500cc engine, the Classic 500 has got this dual-channel ABS feature. For which the company is asking the amount of INR 2.10 lakh (Ex-showroom, Mumbai) that showcase a steep hike of INR 20-30k over the regular model. As of now, only the colour options the Stealth Black and the Desert Storm are being provided with ABS and attract different price tag depending upon the colour option. These are a few exclusive colour options in the brand’s product lineup.

The Royal Enfield has commenced equipping its products with this long-awaited feature that were already being provided in the international specs models. In coming next months, the Royal Enfield will pack its entire lineup with ABS as the feature is going to be mandated as standard on the vehicles over 125cc displacement, from April 2019. Other than this, the two-wheelers below 125cc will get the CBS or ABS depending upon the manufacturer.
Moreover, the 650 twins-the Interceptor and the Continental GT 650 which are already headlining brand’s business at the global front, expected to hit the Indian ground by the end of this month. The company has ramped up operations in order to supply the demand as these are the company’s flagship models and making enthusiasts wait from a long while.
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 ABS, besides witnessing the addition of ABS, did not get any further changes. It continues to get the propelling power from the same 499 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. Mated to a five-speed gearbox, the mill is tuned to churn 27 bhp and 41 Nm of peak torque.
