Eventually, the much-anticipated 650 twins from Royal Enfield has been debuted at the global front. The US pricing for the Interceptor and Continental GT has been emerged online.
The MSRP price for the Interceptor starts at $5,799 (about Rs 4.21 lakh), while the Continental GT 650 will makes the admirers shell out an introductory price amount of $5,999 (approx. Rs 4.36 lakh).
In addition to this, a few special colour schemes are also on offer which retails at considered premium asking over the base models. Well, it is being anticipated when motorcycles will hit the Indian market later this year, will be made accessible under INR 3 lakh pricing.
Other than the standard trim of both bikes, there are two range topping variants namely Custom and Chrome. The variant wize US pricing is as follows

Both the bikes are laden with an all new 648cc, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected parallel-twin motor that is the biggest and powerful engine ever produced by the Indian manufacturer. It churns out 47hp of maximum power at 7,250rpm along with 52Nm of vertex torque at 5,250rpm.
The incorporated gearbox is also new, a 6-speed unit with a slip/assist clutch for easy riding in traffic with a light feel and no wheel-hop experience while downshifting gears.The engine is tuned to manage low and mid-range torque for supplying accessible torque through rev range.
The bike maker claims the 650 twins can attain the top speed of 160kph with fuel mileage of 25.5kpl as WMTC rates. The Interceptor 650 features the fuel tank of capacity 13-litres while the unit on Continental GT 650 is slight small with a 12.5 litre fuel capacity.
Sets at the seat height of 804mm, both the bikes shares identical ground clearance of 174mm. While, the kerb weight for Interceptor 650 is 202 kgs, a bit more than the Continental GT 650 that stands at 198 kgs
On board cycle parts on Royal Enfield 650 twins consist of a conventional telescopic fork and gas-charged twin shock absorbers at suspension front. While, a set of disc brakes measuring 320mm and 240mm respective at the front and rear wheel manages braking in connection with a dual channel ABS as standard.
