The most anticipated motorcycle of the Royal Enfield outfit, Himalayan is all set to launch in the country tomorrow. The bike has made its presence at the RE dealerships across the country. Built on a completely new platform Himalayan is expected to hold the price tag between INR 1.65 lakhs and INR 1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is equipped with a digital-analog instrument cluster that comprises speedometer, odometer tachometer, fuel gauge, digital trip meter, compass, clock etc to provide the necessary information, if someone stuck in no man's land.

Cosmetically, the motorcycle has a round headlamp, tall visor and a single-tube handlebar with a crossbar and the long-travel telescopic suspension, monoshock on swingarm along with 90/90-21 front tyre, 120/90-17 rear tyre and spoke wheels to handle the bike on the uneven terrain.
The Himalayan gets propelling by an all-new 411 cc air-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine that pumps out the power of 24.5 PS at 6,500 rpm and torque of 32 Nm at 4,000-4,500 rpm. The motor is coupled to a five-speed transmission to sent generate power to rear wheel. The vital responsibility of stopping the adventure motorcycle is taken care by 300mm single disc at front wheel while,a 220mm disc at the rear wheel.
The RE Himalayan has an excellent ergonomics and dimensions which measures length of 2,190 mm, width of 840 mm, height of 1360mm and good ground clearance of 220 mm to protect engine in the hills situations, The motorcycle has the kerb weight of 182 kg and big fuel tank with the capacity of 15 litres.
