Royal Enfield Himalayan Production Ready Framework Spotted Again, Launching Soon in 2016

Royal Enfield Himalayan is near about to launch at the 2016 Auto Expo, that is going to be held in Delhi. Prior to the launch, production ready model of the bike has been spotted by a Motoroids reader- Esho Vardhan. According to the latest spy shots, the new Himalayan will be getting an all new power plant and characterizes itself purely an adventure Tourer. The motorcycle has been spied with a pre-registration number plate instead of a sticker on the tail, specifying that the final testing rounds are almost done.

Moving towards the technical specs, the new Himalayan is expected to be powered by a 410cc air-cooled single cylinder engine with an oil-cooler, which is rumored to produce a power of 24 BHP and 32NM of torque. The gearbox is expected to be a five speed unit.

As per the earlier reports, the upcoming Tourer would be available in two versions- a city street version and an off-road version. Street version features a regular sized fork and a standard front mudguard. The adventure Tourer variant, on the other hand, comes with features such as, high-mounted front mudguard, a fuel tank guard, luggage panniers and a sizeable windshield. The Himalayan could get a variety of RE accessories, which is expected to be offered with the motorcycle.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan gets a relatively cheaper price tag. Insiders said, the adventure Tourer will be priced between Rs. 1.65 lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh.
