After Range Rover Evoque launch, the new story of success is added to the name of Land Rover. Right now, it is speculated that the \'premium\' segment will launch in October 2018 at the Paris Motor Show.
The aired Evoque has rigidly made its foundation in different markets. Gerry McGovern, the design boss of Evoque, considers that the concept doesn’t require any modifications to existing design as it is required to hold on with “key ingredients” untouched and would be manufactured to hold the design more relevant. He further mentioned the aim of manufacturing Evoque is “take the Evoque MK1 integrity and make it more relevant".
Furthermore, Land Rover was putting efforts to create the car more modern, luxurious, precise, and comfortable, apart from the beautifying changes that are already in mind of Range Rover. The design of the car is considered to exert inspiration from the latest Velar, which has so far acted upon styling modifications to the freshly facelifted variants of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.

Talking about the Evoque MK2’s interior, it will take a dual touchscreen on the central setup of the console and to increase connectivity options of the company it takes a wide digital instrument binnacle. The next-gen focused model will be manufactured on a modernized version of the existing D8 structure of the car (Jaguar Land Rover’s only front-wheel-drive architecture for transverse engine models). The company is streamlined to be attentive to the ride quality of the Evoque and providing the amenities to the passengers.
The new Evoque is going to be the same in dimension and takes the same 4,390mm long size and 1,900mm wide size. Although its wheelbase is little longer comparing to existing model at 2,681mm. It takes updated and increased track width and a refined trailing arm suspension set-up to scale up the rear passenger comfort. This facelifted version is designed to be restrained to a single five-door body style. In addition, the MK2 will utilize the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, turbocharged Ingenium petrol and diesel engines like before. Although, the Range Rover will try to enhance the fuel economy of the engine.
For entry-level variants, there will be Front-wheel-drive and for all other higher variants, there will be all-wheel-drive as standard. Both the engine of the car is mated to a JLR’s ZF-sourced nine-speed automatic gearbox with the addition of the Land Rover’s latest off-road technology to make you go anywhere.

After 2020, most probably all JRF models will either have an electric or a plug-in hybrid model. Although, the Range Rover Evoque will probably launch before that period and certainly take any of the aforementioned models initially.
There is no official consent on the launch of the pure electric Evoque because of restrictions of the D8 architecture. Land Rover has not unveiled when the latest second-gen Evoque will reach in India, where the existing model priced from Rs 44.44 lakh to Rs 59.76 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
