As the internal sources have said that the Czech car make Skoda will be flaunting its hatchback car Fabia facelift at the Paris Motor Show in October. The new Fabia has been spotted testing before the launch without any camouflage on it. The changes are prominent and one could distinguish among the former and upcoming model.
The new Fabia is based on the models MQB model on which the Rapid and Octavia are based and the front fascia of the new facelifted Fabia looks pretty much similar to those cars as well. The car looks better with the tweaks and it surely can do a lot better than its predecessor. If we talk mechanically, the car is supposed to get power from the 2 turbocharged petrol variants viz, 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre TSI engine. And, the diesel model will get the 1.6 litre powerhouse and a 3 cylinder 1.0 litre mill as well. The company is launching this car as an option which could save the cost for you and of course to get you the much needed economy as well.
Though, Skoda discontinued the car in the Indian market because of the poor sales results, but with this new facelifted Fabia model coming into the limelight in October, the company may re-introduce the car in India on the basis that the market is showing the positive signs of growth and the new Fabia also has a few things to fetch some customers again.
