A scooter carrying a codename spied again. Mahindra has been testing its upcoming scooter for so long. Every time the scooter was being spied, either it was covered with a camouflage or undercover with a black colored cloth. This is the first time when the scooter was spied with its original body, no camouflage, no covered cloth (Spied by Motorbeam.com team). Well, it also seems to be the production ready model of the upcoming 110cc scooter.
The uncovered scooter tells the whole story of the design given by the company to the model. In a closer observation, the highlights of the scooter are the boomerang shaped angry looking headlamps, inclined slim indicators on the lower part of its face and vents in the front. The scooter shows a single straight and comfortable sitting style along with highlighted silver colored grab rails at the end. From the earlier spied pictures of the scooter, some more physical specifications have been revealed like it is also carrying a rectangular shaped tail lamp, a chrome finished exhaust tail.
The technical details of the upcoming scooter haven't been revealed yet by the company, but it is expected to be a 110cc scooter which is hired from the Centuro, a commuter segment motorcycle. The motorcycle's engine is capable to generate 8.38BHP of total power and a peak torque of 8.5Nm. While looking at the front appearance of this upcoming scooter by Mahindra, it seems that the scooter acquires little style and curves from the market-leader Honda Activa.
Eventually, we will be expecting this scooter to be in the market by the staring of the festive season or at the end of the fiscal year. Although, it took three long years for the company for revealing the 300cc motorcycle, Mahindra Mojo, which is still waiting for its turn, Fingers crossed!! The price range of the G101 is expected to stand in between Rs 40,000-Rs 50,000 (Ex-Showroom Price).
