It seems that the Kawasaki Motor Company is busy in revising all the variants of its 30 years old iconic Ninja Series. In the past one month, the company has been launching special versions of different variants in various other countries. The manufacturer's 30th Anniversary celebration is going on and on, and seems it will last long till the year end.
Here comes a gift for the European countries, the Kawasaki has unloaded a special edition of Ninja 300 recently. The special edition has received some cosmetic changes along with the paint scheme. Certainly, the preeminent Green shade over the motorcycle will definitely remain unchanged, instead it will be coming along with a Black and Silver decals over the trademark of the Ninja. The motorcycle's new paint scheme is matching up with the winner of the SBK 2013, Championship, i.e. Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
According to a report, Kawasaki said, "The Ninja 300 will join the ZX-6R and ZX-10R in the Ninja stable later this year resplendent in its green, black and white color and graphic treatment complete with Ninja 30th Anniversary identification. The public support and enthusiasm for Ninja 300 has been considerable and has been consistent right from the early part of the year when the celebration was announced. That momentum will continue now with the prospect of this stunning new treatment for the Ninja 300 which looks set to arrive in dealer showrooms in the later part of the year."
Talking about the technical qualifications of the Ninja 300, it is powered by a parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine with an engine displacement of 296cc. The engine is capable to churn out a total power of 38.45BHP and a maximum torque of 27Nm. The power plant of the motorcycle is coupled with a 6-speed transmission by means of a slipper clutch. Now, coming towards the pricing section, the basic version of Ninja 300 will be priced at 4,979 Pounds (approx Rs 5.07 Lacs) and the ABS equipped version will cost 400 Pounds more over the price tag.
