The major manufacturers like Hero, Honda and Yamaha have already showcased their future plans to rule the Indian sports motorcycle market. So, here we go to know more about some of the upcoming sports motorcycles landing over the Indian ground.
Honda CBR 300R:- The Honda Motorcycles is planning to replace its quarter-liter sports motorcycle by introducing an all new 300cc machine, named as Honda CBR 300R. The launching schedule of the Honda CBR 300R has been delayed since last year, 2014. The 300cc machine has given an aggressive look carrying dual headlamps, fully-faired bodywork and massive fuel tank.
The upcoming sports motorcycle will be receiving an updated version of the quarter-liter motorcycle's engine and ABS as standard. The current version of the 249cc displaced engine is capable to produce maximum power of 30.4 BHP and a peak torque of 27Nm. The Honda CBR 300R will get launched carrying a price tag ranging between Rs 2.50 Lacs to Rs 3 Lacs.
Yamaha YZF-R25:- The Yamaha YZF-R25 is the only responsible sports motorcycle, which has created much stimulation among the youth crowd all across the globe. It is the first quarter-liter sports motorcycle, which has successfully cloaked 2800 online bookings just within 24 hours of its launch in Indonesia. The bellicose style carried by the upcoming sports motorcycle is completely inspired by the firm's flagship liter-class beast, Yamaha YZF R1.
Technically, the Yamaha YZF R25 will be powered by a 249cc parallel-twin engine churning out a maximum power of 35.28 BHP and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm. The firm hasn't revealed the details of ABS to be loaded with latest motorcycle. It is expected to join the Indian product portfolio by the second quarter of the 2015. The 2015 Yamaha YZF R25 will be priced in between Rs 2.80 Lacs to Rs 3.50 Lacs.
Hero Hastur and HX-250R:- The Hero Motocorp is one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturing firms of India. Since its inception, it has become the most trusted brand of commuter segment motorcycle. And, now the firm is planning to spread its wings in the sports motorcycle segment by launching two new beasts in the Indian market. Following the success of Hero Karizma, the manufacturer is introducing Hero Hastur and Hero HX 250R in this fiscal year.
The Hero Hastur is the most amazingly designed sport motorcycle by the Hero Motocorp. The main attraction of the Hero Hastur is its highlighted yellow colored trellis steel tube chassis, massive and stylish fuel tank and its combative dual headlamps, which looks ready for war. It gets its power from a parallel-twin motor carrying an engine displacement of 620cc. the naked sports motorcycle will be launched carrying a price tag ranges in between Rs 5 Lacs to Rs 6 Lacs.
Moving onwards to the Hero HX 250R, it will be making its appearance as the second quarter-liter sports motorcycle by the Hero Motorcorp. After Hero Karizma, it is the second fully-faired 250cc sports motorcycle to be offered by the manufacturer. The hawkish styled dual headlamps, full-faired bodywork and the enormously designed fuel tank are more than enough to attract the youth crowd. The noticeable thing in the Hero HX 250R is the exhaust tail, which is placed just down below the pillion seat. The quarter-liter sports motorcycle is presuming to be priced in between Rs 1.8 Lacs and Rs 2.10 Lacs.
Mahindra Mojo:- The Mahindra Two-Wheelers is working on their newly introduced concept of Mojo motorcycle for so long. The firm is testing and preparing the concept motorcycle for its 2015 launch. The Mahindra Mojo will be featuring a 300cc displaced engine churning out a total power of 26 BHP. It is not a completely naked motorcycle, as it sports a little bit fairing too.
