Royal Enfield apparently working on two motors unit, 410cc and 750cc, that is said to be launched in the country in the first quarter of 2016. The Himalayan edition has been spotted several times in its trial phase. The close-up images of all-new air-cooled motor have been emerged on the web first time. The details and specifications of the machine are yet to be revealed. Recently, the production ready version spotted during the trial that could be announced at any time in the future. The company will offer 410cc motor in two trims- carburetor motor and fuel injected motor.
As per earlier reports, the Royal Enfield Himalayan is featured with an all-new 410cc oil-cooled motorcycle that is likely to be produced around 24 BHP of power while torque will take place between 35-40 Nm. The motor is expected to couple with five-speed transmission. Specifications wise, the adventurer tourer machine comes loaded with a high mounted mudguard, knobby tyres, sizeable windscreen, panniers and engine guard that will provide ultimate touring capability. The long travel suspension, low seat height, large handlebar, front and rear disc brake are the key feature of Royal Enfield Himalayan.

The company could replace the 350cc motor with the 410 in future as the prior machine does not meet the emission norms. To keep the motorcycle in the reach of the customers, the company has confirmed that the motorcycle will be priced between Rs. 1.65 Lakh to Rs. 1.85 lakh.
