Taking into account the more stringent BS6 emission norms, Suzuki has launched its Access 125 scooter in the BS6-compliant version. The price for this environment-friendly mobility solution begins from INR 64,800 for the Drum CBS and rises up to Rs 69,500 for the Disc CBS Special Edition.
To adhere to the latest rules related to BS6 emission, Suzuki has replaced its carburettor based fueling mechanism with the fuel injection. This latest invention in Access 125 scooter will keep the power output similar to BS4 engines, however, the torque will encounter a marginal decline by 0.2 Nm from 10.2 Nm.

Let us shift our attention to the precise power output and torque, the all-new & eco-friendly variant of Access 125 scooter produces. The 124 cc single-cylinder BS6 compliant and the air-cooled engine pumps out 8.6 bhp at 6,750 rpm and peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Other notable features which are added in the BS6-compliant version of Access 125 scooter includes external fuel filling system, fuel-injected engine, new LED headlamp and eco assist illumination on the speedometer, however, eco light is unavailable in the base Drum CBS version. Besides, now there is a digital screen as well to showcase a voltage meter that specifies the battery health. Suzuki has launched its BS6-ready Access 125 in a total of 5 variants which includes standard trims and special editions.

The BS6-compliant Access 125 will lock horns with the latest launches of the Honda Activa 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125 in the BS6 versions. As far as prices are concerned, the three standard-spec Access 125s is much economical in comparison to both the scooters.

Price of BS6-compliant Access 125 is cheaper than these prices of competitors. However, the price-range of top-spec Special Edition models is higher than that of Yamaha Fascino.
