Every manufacturer should timely update or upgrade their existing products in order to be in the talks of their customers. After introducing the well-famed naked street-fighter, the Japanese two-wheeler giant has now come-up with a new avatar for the very same. Just one month back, the firm has launched a faired version of the aforementioned motorcycle, named as Suzuki Gixxer SF. The faired version is currently making its availability in only three colors. Moving towards the naked street-fighter, the firm has recently introduced a dual-tone paint scheme for the Suzuki Gixxer. Although, the official website is not yet updated with the new paint scheme, but the dual-tone colored motorcycle was spied in one of the local dealership.
The red and white painted motorcycle looks more appealing as compared to the solo paint scheme. As per the local dealer, the dual-tone paint scheme of the commuter motorcycle is yet to introduce officially by the manufacturer. There would be no changes over the mechanical front apart from the new color scheme. Currently only one shade is visible in the dealership, i.e. Red and White. The customers would be able to get this new paint scheme with an additional amount of Rs 1500.
Mechanically, the Suzuki Gixxer is featuring a wealthy 155cc powered engine incorporated with a single-cylinder motor. The air-cooled motor is tuned to generate a maximum power of 14.6 BHP @ 8000 RPM and achieves a peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6000 revs, while mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 155cc displaced engine is furnished with company's patent Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) system, which helps over the backend to achieve a fuel-efficient ride. The braking power has been provided by a front disc brake and rear drum brake.
The components which have gone under the dual paint scheme are fuel tank, a little bit of fairing underneath the fuel tank, headlamp cowl, front mud-guard and grab-rails. Paying an additional amount of Rs 1500 for the dual-tone Suzuki Gixxer is definitely worth it.
