The Suzuki Gixxer SF is slowly moving towards its launching date. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has scheduled the launching ceremony of the faired version sports motorcycle on 7th April, 2015. Although, the expectations from the upcoming motorcycle have already touched the 9th cloud, as it is sharing its soul with the most awarded naked street-fighter of the year, 2015, i.e. Suzuki Gixxer. The naked version has already heat-up the Indian market with its introduction in the 150cc segment motorcycles, by providing a very competitive pricing and performance.
Just after the six months of the introduction of the naked version, the Suzuki Motorcycles is launching the faired version motorcycle carrying the same wings of the body. One can book their very own Suzuki Gixxer SF by paying an initial booking amount of Rs 5000. Although, the final price is not yet disclosed by the manufacturer, but it seems that the firm wanted it to become the most affordable and entry-level fully-faired street-fighter in the Indian market.
Just to recap, the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF is powered by an air-cooled, single-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 154.9cc. The 4-stroke engine is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 14.6 BHP @ 8000 RPM and achieves a 14 Nm of torque. The 154.9cc displaced engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. In order to achieve better mileage and performance along with the sporty and stylish look, the firm has installed its very own Suzuki Eco-Performance (SEP) in the mechanism of the motorcycle.
Cosmetically, it can be said as the faired version of the Suzuki Gixxer. Bearing the very same mechanism and makeover, the upcoming motorcycle has just received a front fairing giving it a whole new look. Eventually, it's just a faring which is making a difference in both the siblings, but it directly affects the pricing section of the Suzuki Gixxer SF. It is expected to carry a price tag which stands in between Rs 88,000 to Rs 92,000 (Ex-Showroom).
