After a long interval of around one year, Ultimately Suzuki has rolled it highly anticipated fully faired quarter-liter sports tourer- the GSX-250R in Japan. The motorcycle which also known as Gixxer 250 was in course of questions since it first spied at the Changzhou, China-based automaker’s Haojue Suzuki Motorcycle manufacturing plant. Now with the launch of this beauty on the native land, the Suzuki lovers wait has finally been over today.

If talked about its eye catchy livery, the new GSX 250R get painted in two striking colours of Red and Black dual-tone, and MotoGP Blue colour scheme. Influenced from its elder GSX siblings, the motorcycle has been ornamented with the aesthetic like the sharp and edgy fairing, taller windscreen and stylish rear view mirrors as well at the front end. While moving further, you will observe the neatly fitted massive fuel tank packed with the heavy fairing, fully digital instrument cluster, clips on handlebars and comfortable split seat offering for rider and its companion.
Whilst, having a keen look over mechanicals will make you aware that 2016 Suzuki Gixxer 250 comes loaded with a parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine displaced by 248cc under the fairing. In collaboration with retuned 6-speed transmission, the said engine develops 24.7hp and 23.3Nm at 8000rpm as well as at 6500 rpm respectively. Suspension setup includes USD front fork and rear mono shock. While the braking responsibilities have been taken care by 290 mm single disc incorporated with the two-piston caliper at the front and 240mm single disc at the rear wheel. This newbie runs on multi-spoke wheel wrapped with thicker tires of measuring 110/80 – 17 at the front and 140/70-17 broader tyre at the rear. The popular ABS feature has not been added as standard to this bike.
