Suzuki Swish 125 to get a facelift this year

Suzuki Motorcycles India will supposedly be the first to open their account by introducing a facelift version of the existing 125cc scooter, Suzuki Swish. In 2014, the firm had introduced several products to the Indian portfolio. The manufacturer has come-up with an all new 110cc displaced engine scooter, named as Suzuki Let's and a street-fighter 155cc motorcycle, Suzuki Gixxer. The Suzuki Gixxer is a GSX-R inspired motorcycle. Apart, from the new comers the firm has carried pleasant sales of the remaining scooters and motorcycles.

Suzuki Swish 125

Moving towards the upcoming facelift version of the Suzuki Swish 125, it would have gone through some minor cosmetic upgrades. The upgrades include tubeless tyres, alloy wheels and the most noticeable part is the disc brakes. It will also be receiving a new digital instrument console. The 125cc scooter is directly competing with Mahindra Gusto and Honda Activa 125i.

The Suzuki Swish 125 is powered by an air-cooled, single-cylinder configuration carrying an engine displacement of 125cc. The motor is tuned to generate a maximum power of 8.7 PS @ 7000 RPM and a peak torque of 9.8 Nm@ 5000 revs. The 125cc displaced engine is coupled to a CVT transmission. This is an automatic scooter, which has been designed to carry a youthful layout. The firm has offered various colorful shades for Suzuki Swish, such as Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver/Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Antares Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Glacier White.

The current version of the Suzuki Swish 125 is available in the market carrying a price tag of Rs 52,824 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). And, the facelift version of the existing scooter could be carrying a price hike of approx Rs 5000.
