Another factor which has majorly contributed to this tough competition between the manufacturers is that now more and more buyers are showing their interest in the two-wheeler market giving rise to their shares so in order to woo more customers most of the automobile companies have started launching quarter-liter bikes on a large scale.

Though Suzuki has made no official declaration about the specifications which the to-be launched model will be coming with but, as the name goes the bike will be having a 250cc motor supporting a 6-speed transmission. The power output is also assumed to be around 25 to 28PS while, the braking duties will be handled by disc brake both at front and rear ends. On the design standards too, the machine has successfully come to par since it supports an aggressive and muscular looks. To give the bike a sporty riding position, it will also be equipped with clip-on handle bars.

Other characteristics include: multi-layered side panels, a chiseled fuel tank, short silencer canister, split seats, and alloy wheels with interesting pattern. Unlike the previous Suzuki GSX-R250 model with sports LED headlamps and a sharper, more aerodynamic fairing the new model is also expected to have conventional lamps to keep the cost rate low in India. Though it is not yet finalized but, we can expect these bikes to hit on the Indian roads soon after the launch.

Apart from the Honda's new quarter-liter warrior CBR 250RR, Suzuki GSX-R250 is expected to face competition in terms of both the price and features from many other models like: Yamaha R25/R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390.
