Suzuki Unwrapped the V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition @ Motorcycle Live

After showcasing the all new liter-class segment superbikes in the various international motorcycle shows, Suzuki has recently revealed an adventurer motorcycle. Following the success steps of the Suzuki GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F, now here comes the all new Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition. The firm has showcased the Superbike GSX-S series motorcycles at the America's largest motorcycle show, AIMExpo, 2014 and now the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition gets live at the UK's largest motorcycle event, Motorcycle Live, 2014.

Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition, being an adventurer motorcycle, it is equipped with standard touring accessories such as heated grips, center stand, hand guards, engine bars, LED fog lamps and the most important one in the luggage panniers. The firm will be offering a new paint scheme carrying Khaki color, accompanied with matching colored seat and Gramin 590 satnav. The adventurer motorcycle will go into production by the coming year and will be making its appearance at the dealership by the same time.

2015 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition

The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition will be launched carrying an expected price tag of £10,599, which is £600 costlier than the base version, Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Adventure. The increment in the cost of the upcoming motorcycle is because it is equipped with the Gramin 590 navigation system, which carries a price tag of £500, individually. The upcoming Desert Edition will also be available in India carrying a price tag of Rs 14.95 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Mumbai).

2015 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 Desert Edition

Talking about the technical specifications of the Desert Edition adventurer motorcycle, it will be receiving the very same 1037cc displaced engine. The Suzuki V-Strom Desert Edition is powered by a 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, V-Twin configuration. The 1037cc displaced engine is capable to pump out a total power of 99BHP. Though, it is a special Desert Edition but it is mechanically identical with its standard version, V-Strom 1000 Adventure. The approaching Desert Edition motorcycle will be rivaling against the Kawasaki's upcoming Versys 1000.
