Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the 2019 edition of its cruiser offering the Intruder in India. For a host of design updates and the introduction of a new colour scheme-Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, the company is asking for a price tag of INR 1.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). As the company claims, the cruiser went under the knife for sorts of design updates in lieu of endowing more relaxed and comfortable ride for the customers. The changes include a revised gear shift design and tweaked brake pedal for better ergonomics and overall riding comfort.
At the launch of 2019 Intruder, Devashish Handa, Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, ”We are delighted to start the new fiscal year with the launch of new Intruder which will fascinate the customers for a relaxed ride. With its modern-day design and premium appeal, Suzuki Intruder is an apt motorcycle for all the cruiser lovers in the country. The 2019 Intruder will offer a soothing daily commute as well as short weekend rides."
While at the featuring front, the new intruder continues to pack the similar features of the outgoing model which includes projector headlamps with LED position lights, LED tail lamp, digital instrument cluster, twin exhaust, and twin seat setup with a bucket-style rider seat and backrest for the pillion. In addition to this, rides on alloy wheels finished in black, the cruiser gets disc brakes at both wheels in association with a single channel ABS. while the suspension setup completes with a telescopic fork up front and a Swing Arm Type mono-shock at the rear.

The 2019 Suzuki Intruder draws power from a 154.9 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke engine. It is an identical unit which works on the Gixxer range of motorcycles. In integration with a five-speed gearbox, the mill is capable of spawning out 14 bhp of maximum power at 8000rpm and delivering 14Nm of vertex torque to the rear wheel at 6000rpm.
