The new Suzuki V-Storm 650 that is already on sale in the global market in two trims- the Standard V-Storm 650 and the top-spec V-Storm 650 XT, has been confirmed to mark its entry in the Indian market this year. The sources from Suzuki has informed a popular motoring forum that the middleweight adventure will be on sale by August or September 2018. Primarily, the Suzuki V-Storm 650 was debuted in India at the 2018 Auto Expo. There, the motorbike was hinted to introduce in country\'s lineup in the second half of 2019.
if the pricing is concerned, the incoming\'s direct rival in this middleweight adventure category with 650cc displacement is the Kawasaki Versys 650 that is priced at INR 6.60 lakh (ex-showroom). So, we can expect a price sticker of INR 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom) as the bike will hit the dealerships as CKD unit as an earlier statement confirms. Powering the Suzuki V-Storm 650 is a 645 cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree, V-twin engine that’s good for 70bhp at 8,800 rpm and 66Nm of torque.

The Suzuki V-Storm 650 rides on cast aluminium wheel wrapped up with Bridgestone Battlewing tyres. While the top-end V-Storm 650 XT variant uses stainless steel spoked aluminium rims. In addition to this, a host of premium features which not only offers exclusivity as compare to standard variant but also ensures the safety of the rider. They are plastic handguards and plastic cowls for front head pipes and engine as standard equipment. Going to launch soon in India, the V-Storm 650 could be launched in the range-topping XT variant that can only be confirmed post official words.
