SUV defines the total power with greater comforts, here we are comparing the three SUV's which are below 10 lakh. Comparison of these cars will be done on the basis of their looks, power, interior and price of the vehicle. In India there are two automobile giants that make SUV's below 10 lakh, that are Tata and Mahindra. They also share the biggest share of SUV market in country.
Firstly, we will discuss about the Tata Aria. Company recently launched the facelift of Aria which costs around 9.95 lakh and onwards (Delhi Ex- showrooms). Aria comes with 2.2 litre VARICOR engine which produces a power of 148 BHP and also with VGT (Variable Geometry Charger) which improves in-city driving capabilities. On the inside of car, it has stereo system enhanced by HARMAN premium sound system tailored by JBL. Navigation Control, six Airbags, ABS, Dual AC are some of the other features of the car which make it more eye catching and attractive.
Mahindra Scorpio is another SUV below 10 lakh. Company firstly introduced this car in year 2002 and improved it several times since then. Scorpio is a perfect blend of sportiness, elegance and boldness. Car is powered with 2.2 litre CRDE diesel engine which has displacement of 2179 CC and produces a maximum power of 120 BHP at the rate of 400 RPM along with generating a maximum torque of 290 Nm, at the rate of 1800 to 2800 RPM. The interior of the car is spacious and comfortable, the centre console has different controls and also provided with AC vents for front and rear passengers. Additional features of the car are adjustable steering column, electronic multi trip meter, cigarette lighter and digital odometer.
Tata Safari is another SUV from the Tata Company. Safari comes in two editions, that are Tata safari DiCOR and Tata Safari Strome. The price of the car is 8.87 lakh and onwards. Car was firstly manufactured in year 1998 and was the first SUV to be designed, developed and manufactured in India. If we talk about the engine specifications then it has 2.2 litre DOHC VTT engine with displacement of 2,179 CC which is able to produce maximum power of 140 BHP @ 4000 RPM and maximum torque of 320 Nm @ 1700 RPM. Interior of the car is truly spacious and colour inside the cabin is in a dual dark graphite and big theme with tan leather upholstery. Mileage of the car is 13.93 KMPL.
