The well prominent Indian automaker, Tata Motors is about to set up its two latest hatchback with the name of Bolt and Kite next year in the country. Coming to the second one, the manufacturer has already spotted testing many times for its new Kite on the roads of India. This hatchback will hit the market as the competitor of Maruti Celerio, Chervolet Beat, Datsun Go, Hyundai i10 and the car will also fill the gap between the Bolt and Nano.
Tata Kite will be available in petrol as well as diesel fuel options. The latest 1.05 litre 3 cylinder diesel engine is probably to produce the output of 64.01 bhp with the five speed manual gearbox. The gasoline version will be powered by the 1.2 litre petrol mill, which is inherited from the Tata Zest and Bolt. The car seems to receive an AMT variant to give the biggest rivalry against Maruti Alto K10 AMT and the Celerio AMT. It is also anticipated to have two more fuel options of CNG as well as LPG.
The Tata Bolt will comprise 1.3 litre multijet diesel engine and the 1.2 litre Revotron petrol engine. The petrol variant will be only accessible with the five speed manual gearbox, while diesel variant will get two transmission versions for five speed manual and AMT. Both hatchback models from Tata will come on dealership in the year of 2015.
