Some fresh reports suggest that Tata Motors has revamped its product lineup recently in order to make way for the new entrants. The company has discontinued the Vista and Manza models from the Indian market. Moreover, the Indigo eCS and Indica have now been made available only for commercial purpose. It had even withdrawn the older version of Nano by the end of 2014, which has been replaced by the Genx Nano with various updates. It is being reported that not a single unit of Manza as well as Indigo had been sold since July 2015.

Indigo Manza was launched in 2009, but after 2 years, when its facelift was introduced, it was re-branded by dropping the term Indigo. Initially both Manza and Vista did well but due to high level of competition, new cars kept on arriving in the market which badly affected the sales of these vehicles. As a result, Tata has now started working upon the overhauling of its lineup. It aims at filling gaps in the passenger vehicle segment and also strengthen its dealership network in the country.
Mr Mayank Pareek, who is the president of the Passenger Vehicle Business Unit has stated that every year, 2 new products will be launched till the year 2020. the next one is going to be Tata Zica which will arrive in a hatchback form followed by a compact sedan style. Later, Nexon and Hexa will also make their way to the car bazaar. Apparently, the automaker has even managed to sign the football star Lionel Messi as its Global Brand Ambassador that is grabbing all the eyeballs currently.
