Tata Motors embarked the refreshed version of its Nano at the 2014 Auto Expo with smoked headlight clusters, latest front/rear bumpers and a redesigned dashboard that were bunched in a package to adduce overall a glamorous look for the customers. Now, the Indian company is expected to launch this faclifted version (known as the GenX Nano) in the upcoming weeks. Notably, the mini car will get some additional features, including functional bootlid and an automated manual transmission. Unveiled at the Auto Expo last year, the Nano Active concept has already shown this functional bootlid alongside a dual hydraulic mounts, an upgraded windscreen and a release mechanism.
Moreover, the AMT variant was showcased as the Nano Twist F-Tronic concept at the Auto Expo along with a Magneti Marilli made system. This model promises to render 10 to 15 percent of extra fuel efficiency as compared to the conventional automatic transmission. At the same platform, its pre-production concept was premiered that comprises larger 24 litre fuel tanks, dual tone dashboard, finest seat fabrics and a spectacular 3 spoke steering wheel.
All of these changes are likely to make this vehicle more interesting to obtain tremendous response from the customers in the Indian automobile market. We hope that the GenX Nano will cover up all those paucities found on its predecessors and make a terrific record in India.
