The Harrier SUV of Tata Motors is set to be launched in January 2019 but is already making its public debut in a few cities. The first city selected by the Tata Motors is Gurgaon and then it will be followed by Bengaluru, Lucknow, Delhi and more.
The SUV display will be for everyone but the people who pre-booked the Harrier will get a special preview which will be hosted by the Tata between 9 AM and 11 AM. The car will be open for the public and also they can sit and see what all things the car offers but there is no test drive offered as of now.
The Tata Harrier has a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel powertrain which produces 128PS of power and 350 nm of torque. Initially, the Harrier will offer 6-speed manual gearbox only, whereas an automatic trim will most probably arrive soon.

Like all the other modern cars of Tata, the Harrier too is loaded with features like - ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, and rear parking sensors. Higher-spec trims will get ESP, ISOFIX child seat anchors, six airbags, traction control, rollover mitigation hill hold control, hill descent control, and corner stability control.

Other important features included in the car are - upto eight-way adjustable driver seat, multiple driving modes, auto climate control with rear AC vents, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto (Apple CarPlay will be introduced later), rain-sensing wipers, push button start stop, cruise control, auto HID headlamps, LED DRLs, a nine-speaker JBL sound system, reverse parking camera, and a 7-inch multi-info display in the instrument cluster.
The mid-size SUV is expected to have a competitive price to give fight to the rivals like the Hyundai Creta. As per the size, it will compete with the Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson. The Harrier will get five seats and is expected to come between the range of Rs 13-18 lakh.
