Currently, the most awaited Tata Motors SUV in India is probably the Land Rover based Tata Harrier and addition to the excitement, a dealer has also accepted the booking amount of the SUV.
There is news coming with evidence supported that the dealers though unofficially have accepted INR 50,000 booking amount which is fully refundable in case one cancels the booking.
Showcased in the Auto Expo, Tata Harrier created a lot of attention and based on that there might be a long list of customers waiting for it once it gets launched.
The new Tata Harrier is based on Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture (OMEGA) platform and is due for launch in January 2019. Coming to the mechanicals of Tata Harrier, it is said to be powered with 2 litre BS4 diesel engine.

The power is said to offer 140 bhp power and 320 Nm torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and will be complied with Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program (BNVSAP).
The Tata harrier is said to be the most expensive Tata SUV in India with a price estimated to be crossing 13 lakhs. It would be rivalling Hyundai Creta and Jeep Compass once launched in India.
